If you are looking for an excellent trainer, Ricardo Reyes is your man. I have been training with Ricardo for almost five years and I have been very pleased with the results. He takes great interest in his clients' success. He gives you all tools for success by giving you an exercise regime that is challenging and you never get bored because he keeps the workouts fresh and innovative. We do cardio-intensified workouts, sometimes we work on strength conditioning, and sometimes we work on volume or repetition exercises. I never know what to expect and find this very important in my health development. We never do the same outline and find that I never get bored exercising. I need this diversity so that I can stay motivated.

About five years ago I weighed 263 pounds and I am only 5 feet 10 inches tall. I was in horrible condition and got diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I knew I had to do something about this weight problem. I started my diet and I lost about 20 pounds in 2 months time, but I knew I needed help with my weight loss. I joined a gym and that is where I met Ricardo.

Over the course of about year and half I was able to lose 70 pounds. I met Ricardo about 3 to 4 times a week for one-hour sessions. He put me on a healthy diet, making sure that I watched my carbohydrates, protein and fat intake, as I was eating too many carbohydrates. I started to drink more water and less sodas. I took more account of what I was eating. Ricardo was extremely instrumental in guiding me to path of healthy eating. Don't get me wrong, he gave me the tools and the encouragement, but I had to do the work and stay on track. Make sure you understand that to succeed you have to make the commitment to yourself and stay true to yourself.

Once I lost the weight, I still I was out of shape. Ricardo worked diligently with me on a strength and conditioning program. I started to lift weights, ran on the treadmill, and even learned how to jump rope - shocking because I am so uncoordinated - I amaze myself sometimes over my accomplishments. I am in the best health of my life. By the way I am 59 years old and I don't look it. My co-workers think I am 45 years old. What a great feeling. It gives me the fuel to continue on with this process. I recommend Ricardo Reyes as your personal trainer and he will put you on the path to a healthy lifestyle.

Growing up, exercise was never emphasized as an integral part of life. As a nurse, I learned the importance that exercise had on both physical and mental health. But it wasn't until I herniated two disks in my back that I realized how weak my muscles really were. I needed help and I needed it fast.

Starting to work out at 40 was no easy task so I decided to hire a personal trainer for a couple of sessions just to get me started. That trainer was Ricardo Reyes.

The fact that two years later he is still my trainer is a tribute to what kind of a trainer he is. Ricardo makes me feel safe, comfortable and challenged all at the same time. He encourages and praises me, building my confidence and self esteem. He has an impressive knowledge of body mechanics and is very attuned to how to improve my body without injuring it.
