About Ricardo
Ricardo has been a personal trainer for over five years and has taught tennis for over 20 years. As a personal trainer, he has evolved from body building type workouts to dynamic functional training to CrossFit training. More about the CrossFit philosophy.
Ricardo’s first exposure to CrossFit came from a fellow trainer whose personal workouts seemed unusual at first. But after doing CrossFit workouts for a month with his fellow trainer, the results were undeniable. Ricardo became a stronger, leaner and more flexible athlete doing exercises that were fundamentally safer and more efficient than anything he had done before.
Ricardo’s athletic experiences include a lifetime of tennis, two marathons, numerous triathlons including two Escape from Alcatraz finishes, Olympic lifting and mountain biking.
Over the course of his five years of training, he has had the opportunity to work with professional desk-jockeys, tri-athletes, teenage athletes, post-rehabilitation clients and special populations.
Ricardo is a certified Personal Trainer with the following certifications:
