What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is an elite fitness regime for everyone. Ricardo’s approach to personal training is based on the CrossFit program originally developed by Coach Greg Glassman who spent many years watching, working with, and coaching all types of people – from those interested in general fitness to elite athletes.
CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (such as pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity. The workouts can be scaled to fit each client’s fitness level and experience in performing certain exercises. So a CrossFit veteran and new participant can complete the same workout with changes in weight and intensity.
